Marvel Short #41 – Election Season! (part 1)

Domino and NYC Mayor Gruenwald (named for longtime Marvel comics editor/writer Mark Gruenwald) tour a debate site for the upcoming election. The Mayor accuses Domino of not understanding the electorate; Domino counters with the fact that only 20% of voters turned out to vote for him in the last election.
The credits for the comic strip, citing the Unsplash users whose photographs were the background art, the ownership of Marvel by Disney, the creation of Marvel characters by actual human beings, and the figure photography/script/lettering by me, Phil Wrede.

Welcome to the first in a series of short comics that get up close and personal with Domino’s campaign for mayor! I’ve plotted these out pretty carefully, and I think I should be able to do one installment, every other week, and time the “election day” installment pretty closely to the actual 2022 election day (November 8, 2022).

I’m not going to let my busy personal schedule get in the way of Domino’s campaign!
