All-New, All-Good-PR Avengers #124 – ‘No Sleep ‘Til Jonah’ (part 3)

On the set of his late-night-style talk show, Daily Bugle editor-in-chief J. Jonah Jameson turns to the “camera” and declares, “You didn’t think I forgot about you, did you?” The title of this comic strip, “All-New, All-Good-PR Avengers Presents… ‘No Sleep ’til Jonah’,” is visible at the top of the image.
Jonah turns more dramatically towards the “camera,” continuing, “I’ll tell you who almost forgot about J. Jonah Jameson, now: Reed Richards and Tony Stark! The so-called ‘smartest men in the world’ thought they could make me forget what I stand for!”
Jonah gestures over his right shoulder, where a photograph of Iron Man and the android Jocasta, standing near one another, is visible. Jonah belabors his point (as he is wont to do), “Since some out there need reminding, let me refresh your memory about what I - J. Jonah Jameson, stand for! Accountability! Integrity! Speaking truth to power! And, killing sacred cows! Which is why we had to share these photos of Stark’s new squeeze, the android Jocasta, out on the town with Iron Man!”
The top half of the image is a closeup of Iron Man and Jocasta, in as passionate an embrace as a man in a suit of technological armor and an android can be in. Over it, Jonah remarks, “I think you need to get your house in order, Tony!” The bottom half of the image is Jonah gesturing at a third photo of Iron Man and Jocasta. He says, “How do you expect the world to respect you, when those close to you clearly don’t?”
Jonah points right into the “camera,” and finishes his commentary by saying, “Tony says he wants to change the world! Well, for once, he’s not the one starting a new fling, before the last one was even over! We all know Stark’s arrogant, but is he also ignorant? Do we want to turn our future over to him, for good?”
The credits for the comic strip, citing the creator of the backdrop used for the photo background, the ownership of Marvel by Disney, the creation of Marvel characters by actual human beings, and the photography/script/graphic design/lettering by me, Phil Wrede.

Welcome back to ‘No Sleep ‘Til Jonah,’ everybody! It’s been a little bit since U.S. Agent dropped off the phone with incriminating photos at the Bugle, so the next phase of whatever he had in mind must finally be under way! Do you think he was in on the plan Jocasta, Tony, and Rhodey made?
