RANGERS #4 – “Go Go Roommate Crisis!” [Part 2]

Kimberly, the Pink Ranger, and Trini, the Yellow Ranger, stand near Andros, looking worriedly at one another. “Maybe we shouldn’t give him such a hard time,” Kimberly admits. “We’ll probably get burned again, so it’s good these suits are fireproof,” Trini adds.

“Why don’t you take a seat, bud?” Kimberly asks the already-seated Andros, indicating just how closely she’s paying attention to his apparent distress. “And some deep breaths!” Trini recommends.

Kimberly holds up Andros’s robe, which he was just recently using as a blanket. “You dropped your robe!” she observes. “You’re the best friends a guy could have!” Andros says, in gratitude.

Kimberly drapes Andros’ robe around his shoulders. “We’re Rangers! We can help!” she says. Sitting next to Andros on the couch, Trini continues, “We’ll go into your dream with you and help fight the beast!”

“How does that sound?” Kimberly asks. Andros makes it clear he wants their help in a different way, when he says, “Actually… could you guys make me some eggs? And sausage? And waffles?”

Kimberly and Trini step back in annoyance. “You want us… to cook your breakfast?” Kimberly asks. “I have nightmares when I’m hungry,” Andros explains.

Kimberly and Trini break out their weapons and chase Andros off the couch. “That’s it!” Kimberly declares. “Next week, you’re paying rent!” Trini announces. “Nnooo!” Andros yells, as he runs.

The credits for this comic strip, including the photographer whose picture provided some of the background, the use of fonts by Blambot, acknowledgement of the creators and owners of both Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and Power Rangers in Space, and that the character photography, script, and lettering were all done by me, Phil Wrede.

What is there to say this time, except that Andros probably pushed his luck a little too hard?
