All-New, All-Coordinated Avengers #91 – ‘Help Me Get Things Right’

The combined X-Force and Avengers team - the Beast, Domino, Cable, Colossus, and Red Guardian - approaches the borders of the infamous super-prison The Vault, in the Rocky Mountains. The title of this comic strip, “All-New, All-Coordinated Avengers Presents… ‘Help Me Get Things Right’,” is visible at the top of the image.
Cable and Domino look around for the mind-controlled army that was supposed to be amassing in The Vault, and they see a team of HYDRA agents, Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.) agents, and Vault Guardsmen closing on them, all with the telltale glowing amber eyes of those who’ve fallen victim to Cord’s mind control.
Domino strikes first, blasting away with her submachine guns and their stun bullets, trying to knock down as many of the foes in her way as she can.
The Beast delivers a mighty kick to a mind-controlled A.I.M. agent, sending them flying up into the air.
Colossus catches a Vault Guardsman as he tries to fly past, and the metal-skinned mutant hero slams the Guardsman into the pavement. Colossus hopes the Guardsman’s armor is padded internally.
Red Guardian knocks one other Guardsman down, but gets shot in the back by a third Guardsman.
Colossus sneaks up behind that armed Guardsman and punches him into the air so hard that he nearly clears the wall surrounding The Vault.
The two Russian heroes share a moment of camaraderie amidst the fighting. Sunspot draws solar energy into himself as a Guardsman attempts to force him to surrender.
Sunspot knocks out the Guardsman with a single punch. Behind the walls of The Vault, Edwin Cord and his partner, The Controller, amass more of their army for the fight, including the mind-controlled Thunderstrike and Whirlwind!

The big, multi-week fight starts here! I know I’ve done a few of these before, but this should give the biggest ones in the Phil Wrede Marvel Action Figure Comic Universe a run for their money!

This is, after all, the culmination of a struggle that began over a year-and-a-half ago, when Thor dropped the captured A.I.M. agents off at The Vault. It better be a big deal, since we’ve been building up to it for this long!
