All-New, All-Coordinated Avengers #90 – ‘This Could Take All Night’

1. Beyond the perimeter of The Vault, Cable and Dazzler stand in a field in the Rocky Mountains. Cable holds a finger to his ear, as though he’s receiving a call. The title of this comic strip, “All-New, All-Coordinated Avengers Presents… ’This Could Take All Night’,” is visible at the top of the image.

Sure enough, Cable is in communication with the recon team members of X-Force: Colossus, Domino, and Cyclops, who are in the mountains above The Vault, getting a clear look at what’s going on in the prison.

The recon team has taken a break for lunch; Colossus laments that he squashed his wrap. Domino takes a photo of the scene inside The Vault to send to Cable.

Cable asks to speak with Cyclops; as he’s a time-traveler from an alternate future, Cable is the son of Cyclops in that future. Cyclops doesn’t want to speak with Cable, though, and obliterates Domino’s cell phone with one of his optic blasts.

Domino complains that Cyclops just destroyed her personal phone. Wolverine laughs at Cable and Cyclops’ strange relationship, and Dazzler pleads with him to stop giving both of them such a hard time.

Domino breaks out her commlink to communicate with the Russian mutant superhero Darkstar, who’s flying in the sky high above The Vault. Darkstar reports that none of Edwin Cord’s brainwashed army has left the prison walls, yet.

Back on the ground, Sunspot tries to hit on Jocasta, and fails. Red Guardian and Spider-Man discuss the finer points of superhero costumes.

Wolverine bids goodbye to the combined team of X-Force and the Avengers, explaining that he had already scheduled a raid on a different secret facility for this day.

This team-up mission gets even further overstuffed, with the reveal of the X-Force recon squad! And, the return of Domino! The Vault isn’t going to know what hit it!
