Batman and the Mysterious VHS Tape!

In the Wayne Manor study (a playset from the Batman ’66 TV series), Bruce Wayne stands, dressed in his Batman costume, closely examining a videocassette in his hands. His butler, Alfred Pennyworth, remarks, “You say this tape is from The Riddler, sir?”
Bruce moves to hand the tape to Alfred, answering, “Yes, Alfred, only we can’t plug the VCR into the TV anymore!”
Alfred dutifully takes the videocassette and says, “I’ll set the Bat-Computer to digitizing, sir.”
The red phone on Bruce’s desk starts to ring, and he says to himself, “I hope Jim is feeling patient today!”
The credits for this comic strip, listing the original creators of each character and series, the use of fonts by Blambot, and the photography, script, and lettering, which were done by me, Phil Wrede.

Batman says he always has a plan, but evidently he didn’t think too hard about how to ensure he access all his obsolete technology! What was the plan there, Batman? You just didn’t think you’d ever need to watch a VHS tape ever again?
