One of the wonderful things about characters who’ve been adapted dozens, even hundreds of times over by all manner of creative folks on paper, in live-action, animation, plastic, digital spaces, etc., is that everybody can have their own favorite take on those characters. There can even be times that your favorite version is one that somebody else has never heard of before!
There are plenty of great versions of the Riddler out there, but Frank Gorshin’s will likely always be my favorite. The Batman ’66 villains were uniformly great at going from hilarious to murderous in the blink of an eye; Gorshin’s rubber limbs and face were incredible at enabling the Riddler’s deadly pendulum-swinging.
(If you enjoyed this, but you missed the previous comic, where Joker and Harley faced off against the Riddler, why not read it now?)
